So, is Sumire the protagonist now? I noticed she's getting all the attention lately while Kiyo is getting a bit sidelined. I guess there's only so much you can do with a character whose only role is to cook. The mangaka should have put a little more thought into it I guess.

It's kind of fair, you know. Su-chan has almost everything that Kiyo doesn't. She got to be a Maiko, everyone admires her, has a lot of friends. Meanwile Kiyo is stuck in the kitchen. So it's only fair the guy Su-chan wants actually likes Kiyo. It's just gives their dynamic some balance...
