@Zephyrus
You are the one preaching the rules in multiple instances. Regardless, Xereste is not currently online so I cannot answer that question. I'm glad to see that you're making it clear what kind of site MangaDex truly is. It's a shame that all the work the developers are putting in is...
@Plykiya
You are acting as if linking to a scanlator's site is a crime. Let me remind you that the reason for all of this is that Zephryus removed my link to Boredom Society's site when I posted it in the comments.
I do find it funny that Zephyrus couldn't respond himself but regardless, you...
@Zephyrus
You've completely missed Xereste's point. He clearly said that the chapter does not infringe on any rules because only one chapter is out. You could have done your due diligence and checked but you did not. Since only one chapter is out, it does not break rule 3.2.6 which states:
To...
If anybody wants to read the first chapter, it is up on Boredom Society's website. I won't link it since it's apparently against the rules. Happy reading :)
Since this is the manga comments, I think it's appropriate for me to comment on the actual manga. Overall, it's a good first chapter and...
@Zephyrus
You do realize that only one chapter is out right...
Since the chapter was already posted here under "no group," Xereste decided to post the chapter so people don't get confused as to where the series went.
Again, you are dismissing that I am linking to a scanlator's site. Nowhere...
@Zephyrus
It is not my chapter. As I've mentioned frequently before (and even listed in my profile description), I don't speak for any groups. I did as I was told to do by Xereste, the scanlator of the chapter.
Also what platform is that? I linked to boredomsociety.xyz, which is Xereste's...
@yeahjerry
The scanlator is Xereste, not Boredom Society. They are two different groups. Xereste requested that his releases be hosted on Boredom's site and not on MangaDex.
@firelight
Some things to consider:
- make use of the api/manga endpoint (1 api call is used but it allows you to download all the chapters and even filter out the langauges you don't want to download)
- api rate limit is 1500 req/10 min so you can lower the sleep time considerably
You can...
@josephgomes619
Did you look at the link? IE, Firefox, and Safari all don't support it currently. So people who use those browsers couldn't read chapters published in webp format.
If MangaDex does choose to support webp, they would have to convert the webp images to pngs/jpgs as a fallback for...
@josephgomes619
https://caniuse.com/#feat=webp
It doesn't have widespread support yet. Encouraging scanlators to publish in webp would ostracize the unsupported browsers. For MangaDex to support those browsers, they would have to convert webp to png/jpg. Since they're already experiencing...
@abdellbobo
This is not a joint release between Sexy Akiba Detectives and you. Please stop listing Sexy Akiba Detectives as a joint. It makes it seem as though Sexy Akiba Detectives endorses this release which it does not.
