@ravenblitz I think it's rather vague as Frey call Demon Lord with "They". She call "He" when she mentioned MC, not when Demon Lord previous life.

MC and Abel deserve to be happy. They have sad childhood. This is why I hate alcohol... it's will be corrupted your judgement and reason. Even you just drink it a bit... once you cannot stop, it's will be the end.

Honestly... I bit fed up about MC action... do act but run away after that... TWICE! I hope there no third time or this will be my goodbye. Other than that story is quite good, I just don't like that MC side.
