Them casually going to college together because senpai's a slacker and MC didn't magically become the most famous actress in Japan overnight is a fantastic anticlimactic punchline and fits the tone of the story perfectly.
Nice chapter to flesh out Yuri past being a siscon (or at least showing that his siscon mentality extends to empathy for other people's families as well) along with some worldbuilding.
Honestly, Sakurai's actually my favorite character but I don't particularly want him to get with MC without a major personality shift. His tsundere Heero schtick might be cute or funny from an outside perspective but it would make Kanako even more of a nervous wreck not being able to read her...
Going through the comments and excuse me? People reading this actually liked the yuri couple? The one involving the only rational person in the entire manga being gaslit into accepting her GF continuing to be a one dimensional lesbian stalker even after getting into a relationship with a...
It's not like a revolutionary development in the romcom genre or anything but I always appreciate stuff like this showing how no matter how close a couple is, they'll still act differently with their same-gender friends than with each other.
Hate that I can't bring myself to dislike this series despite all the stupid forced drama and meandering because of the good moments that I love like an oasis in a desert of misunderstandings.
Can't overstate how much I appreciate getting away from tennis filler and into the main plot progression. The main man himself finally appearing and having characterization living up to the mystery that's been built up all series is great.
The man in the armor is Nelo Angelo from DMC1. V's having severe PTSD at realizing Trish (the spitting image of his mother) was transformed into a mindless demon knight just like he was, and by his own demonic side's hand at that.
