@comeonnow0 The trope page helped me understand why the whole “sweets” thing was so common in manga and anime, but in any case from a Western perspective it is a bit strange.

Imo they got off easy just being told off and not being reported to the school authorities. But idk I feel like my suspension of disbelief was there before, and now that this has happened it seems like it’s not a fantasy situation, leading me to be confused about how this didn’t happen sooner...

Yeah the language she uses is really antagonistic when he hasn’t even done much wrong. It’ll probably make him second guess everything he does and that’s just not a good vibe. Can this guy move on already

@MrMcNasty Yeah that type of stuff is wack but I think this situation is kinda different. She didn’t even make any moves or get into a relationship in this case so there’s no trade up happening. The guy might downgrade his viewpoint on their relationship to platonic over time, and just move on...
