For such a cute cartoon, this gave me an unsettling sense of impending melancholy. Everything is so sweet, but there's just no way it can last when you are from two such different worlds. At some point they're going to have to let go of each other and it's such a bummer.

I'll find the situation funny when I first read it in the comic, but it's usually afterwards when I'll laugh the most while reading the other commenters collectively flipping out over all those ridiculous salty desserts lol.

After reading, I immediately checked the comments to see how many people also thought "wtf". I wasn't disappointed.
