people seem to be forgetting that the real cause of all this is the darkness monster that infected kanaka back before kazuya was born. If they didn't have it's leftover darkness, none of this would have happened

So what's the theory on who the shadow was? I assume it's the remnants of that one goddess that the renegade Tsugumomo killed to get her shard, which was around 1,000 years ago, hence the millennium of hatred, which would make the renegades directly responsible for all of this

People are only just now getting the MG Quest vibes from this? the spirits started getting me thinking of the similarities, but the appearance of something "other" than a typical monster solidified it. MGQ seems like it makes for a good manga/light novel. Would probably be a dope Anime if done...
