I suspect whatever force made the Yuri relive this story thought it a happy story, until reliving it led to her feeling nothing but despair so when someone read the story just resenting everything about the love leads it pulled Melissa in.

I think having an OP MC can work decent for slice of life type stories. It's a bit stupid, but the stupidity of it all is sorta the appeal.

The memorial thing being gone doesn't seem like it'd stop him getting new abilities exactly if he's still able to get these new job change privileges. Feel like it has to mean something else.

Maryrose may have already decided she'd rather die than lose her friend/face, so she's set up a fight where she can teach Kate a bit and die in the process to save her face.

@Twia I think it strikes her as disgusting having a monster talking to her as well pissing her off having attacked MC who is pretty much her lifeline to sanity, but then even during the fight the MC is cheering her up so she goes to her slightly not sane cheerfulness.

It's shitty, but it probably was the right choice for Isaac given they're talking about non-stop torture. Still what now? It seems like's abandoned the senator route right now, so maybe on the search for Rubia's grave?

I can't help but think that wasn't a deity so much as the original Melissa's spirit that's haunting the world and cursing Yuri to be repeating this same life.
