I expected a typical overpowered isekai but the manga went beyond my expectations. This manga really sets itself apart and is very well executed. It started quite cliché but will surprise you if you hold on.
@KeiriQ The manga did show that he chose it if you look closely. All the skills explained are the one chosen by him. It wasn't very clear so it's pretty easy to misinterpret.
@CHABBYCHABZ This is only my speculation but either it's because the sword's curse only affects the holder or the reversal only affects the effects of the sword on her and not the sword directly.
@Haunt If publishers are willing to publish his works then they have to sell at least well enough to convince them to invest in him.
I'm also ashamed to say that (I didn't realise this until I read your comment), but most of his manga on dex are actually on my active reading list. I didn't...
@Ri_Lilium I remember the Demon Queen and the tsundere attendant. There should also be a few more.
Funny thing is I thought it was out of character for him as well. It's probably because I hadn't read this in a while so I must have mixed up his character with the MCs of other cultivation stories.
This manhua is a nice surprise.
The story is really cute and fluffy without unecessary drama, the characters are also not as dense as a typical rom-com.
The romance starts a bit slow but picks up later on which is nice to see because it's quite rare to see a rom-com with an actual romance...
@Mr_Detective Judging from the comments made by the grandma it sounds like they all coexist in different alternate timelines, but Nanoka helped them move on? At least that's my take on it.
