@AstralFe I know it's not you guys splitting it up; if I came across as implying anything like that, I assure you it was not intended and I apologize for not being clearer.
I was speaking about the fad (particularly the midsentence cliffhanger) in the manga industry at large. Honestly, authors...
Well, at least he didn't touch the horny, NTR-craving catgirl; that would really throw a wrench in the work-- ...Shit, he's going to do that next chapter, isn't he?
Good lad: doing whatever you can to route around obstacles is part of the requirements for success, after all.
BTW, kudos to the scanslators for not splitting the chapter up in ".1" & ".2" segments like the raws.
@TheMarksman That's what I recall, yes.
I'll also note, for those still worried about Lysia, that my spoiler explicitly underlines the nature or her ambition and whether or not to worry about it:
Agreed, the translations are fine; the thing that is cryptic is the raws. Example:
"Oh no, Daddy's evil and has us captive." Next page: "Dad's out of the picture with no explanation and is never mentioned again". Rinse and repeat every 5 pages.
...The hooded menace with mind control powers was the "heroine" from the first chapter's condemnation scene, right? Well, that's one way to hamper an OP character and make the story interesting, I guess.
