kinda funny how the authors just straight up admit they only did a 2nd season because they were guilt tripped into doing it. Makes the end all the more fitting. better than being Axe'd by a publisher anyway.

what a powerful story, and yes it's a very unsatisfying fate, but sadly a very real one. Everyone wanted to look away and eat candy but they couldn't eat candy forever.

Aya didn't want a deep philosophical life with lots of twists and turns
she wanted a normal life that had value, so that when she could turn herself in the punishment had meaning.
