Rereading all of this on seeing the bonus chapter, it's still good.

The premise seemed interesting but once he moved in I was hoping, hard, out loud, that it didn't do the extremely convenient and contrived trope of "everyone important to the story coincidentally lives together." And then, just a few pages later, there was a girl sleeping next to him, showing...

"New chapters please. Old ones if we ever catch up" This, please This is a series I wouldn't mind rereading, but I'd definitely rather see what happens next

"Taking the humans' side doesn't oppose any risk, you evil bastard." "You won't be able to save anything if you keep fighting while trying to help the humans, fragment of the brilliant light." These are both translations of the same line. Only the second one makes sense, in the first place.

If you want the last fifty chapters, they're out there. Personally, I want to see the next chapter, not to wait a year for a new translator to catch up.

I remember getting to the point when the author had to start military service. I'd totally forgotten about the series, but now I want to see what happens next. 3 more months? So he hasn't written since then?

It feels like a pretty big contradiction that she's insulted by everyone all the time over her powerlessness, but also has a reputation of being an ice demon full of wrath who will bring down her anger upon you at the slightest thing. I knew the translation had to have an error in it. Weird place to have an error, though. How do you confuse 2 and 9? Not enough sleep? The number he gives is about equivalent to a ton of TNT. That's a big boom, but to be as strong as a very old nuke, it would need to be more than 15,000x times...

It feels like it's rushing toward the end now.

@Valve I've got a few volumes of the LNs, and this was a "purposefully kept hidden until the end of the book" thing. Though I forget if it was vol1 or 2. It reallly changes how you view a lot of the previous chapters in retrospect.
