I mean I guess it could be interpreted as whatever. It's not even a real word. I dunno why the artist couldn't have just left it as imouto. But I like it when stuff references things that I like. Although it's kinda lost in translation
It's also one of the first truly yuri light novels; Maria-sama was before it but it's not really yuri. It was a novel before they made a anime and manga adaptation. I highly recommend it. You can get the Seven Seas omnibus here along with several other yuri related novels...
Spica is the name of a star and it's what they call the imoutos in this. My guess is that the author likes Strawberry Panic and is referencing it by using that term. St. Spica is the name of the school from Strawberry Panic that won the Etoile Competition (French for star). The competition was a...
I finally found a reliable translator as Tosiaki from WindyFall group. So chapters should eventually come out within weeks. I plan to start from chapter one since the raws are from the completed 1st volume and I'm prioritizing quality over being quick about it
@SovientWeeb you're thinking of Swap ⇔ Swap https://www.mangadex.org/manga/17507/
It has a very disappointing ending that ruined most of the experience for me
People who read manga are too liberal with the term axed. If it ended that doesn't mean it was cancelled. Usually you can tell right away if it was cancelled or not. This just had a rushed feeling ending cuz it was like an advertisment for the light novel to get you interested enough to pick it...
Too bad this will never be continued :( It's already 11 years old. I like oneshots but I don't like feeling like it should get a serialization only to be disappointed that it'll never happen. This reminded me of the art from Lily Marble. It's crazy this is the same person who worked on the manga...
@fsadddfsa It's nice seeing multiple groups work on something. You're doing an excellent job for what you have to work with. I'm just saying personally for me I would read Lily's version. (Mainly since I requested her and like her work) I like the releases put out by your group and have several...
This would be a solid 8/10 series if the translation was a better quality. It's not very accurate and has bad grammar. The typesetting and redraws are good but the tl itself has more to be desired. If only the same person would work on it but find a good translator. Also I'm fairly certain she's...
About the word spica basically the manga is using that as a shoe in for the word imouto and it's what the people assigned as little sisters are called in it. The other guys didn't have that word at all cuz they were using the chinese translation
