That depends on velocity fall-off. If there's no drop in speed eventually it'll break away from the curvature of the earth and escape the gravity well.
It seems like the reason she wears the mask is related to her "fresh green eyes" ability. I'm guessing it's like how pirates would wear an eye patch over one eye topside, then switch eyes below decks. Maybe exposing her eyes in the city too much ruins her spirit vision.

It would be refreshing if the author could at least hire a consultant to help with their dearth of creativity, story pacing and skill editing strategy.
I'll accept the protagonist is a moron, but the author is an amazing artist that goes even as far as using soft-body inertia effects to...
No you moron, she's a proud woman who loves you so much she wants to be your equal. I get it that it would be shocking that she suddenly left like that, but Rudeus is being really dense.
I did really appreciate the romance this chapter started out with though, that was a nice feeling, though...
Lillia lectured Aisha with Rudy "listicles" (List-Articles, like "Top 10 Lip Gloss Shades" or "5 Greatest Roof Stunt Fails)... No wonder Aisha hates him now.

Why do people keep saying the MC is 50? He was 37 when he died. Mind, "middle-aged" starts a lot younger in the youth-obsessed Japan, and the obese version of the MC is certainly drawn to look a lot older than he was... but still, he's not 50, unless you count up his age post-mortem and...
@Mcknight
Thanks for that. I had understood part of that already through nuance in the world building the author's being doing, but not the part with the common-law marriages. I'd like it if the author dipped into the world's deity system a little more to understand what drives the character's...
There are no bullets in the casings Hatter tossed to Alice. Though, considering how carefully drawn everything is, that might be deliberate, but the casings also appear to have no cap or firing pins.
