    Don't Toy with Me, Nagatoro-san! - Vol. 10 Ch. 78.5 - Volume 10 Extras

@Simpleton Prez certainly has some eccentricities, but I'm not completely convinced she wouldn't take Paisen for herself if Nagatoro just cut off contact with him. For now, she does things that test their relationship as a sort of double-edged sword. I believe she's come to see Senpai in a much...

My New Wife Is Forcing Herself to Smile - Vol. 2 Ch. 27

@cksn If you're only looking at this through a serious lens, then I'd suggest just stop reading the story. This "fault" of Shoujirou's is the near foundation of the comedy. We can prod them along towards consummation, but the story will likely end when that happens, you see?

My New Wife Is Forcing Herself to Smile - Vol. 2 Ch. 31

If anyone is interested in a good period piece (Jidaigeki) about feudal Japan, The Twilight Samurai (2002) is a decent watch. The 2010 remake of Hara-Kiri: Death of a Samurai, is also quite good, if not more grisly.

My New Wife Is Forcing Herself to Smile - Vol. 2 Ch. 28

@Kaarme Its consistency makes people naturally want to swallow it before properly chewing it up. Since it's typically more dry on its exterior, it's easy to underestimate just how sticky it is once it's exposed to moisture. Some of the best I've had was stuffed with sweet red bean paste.

My New Wife Is Forcing Herself to Smile - Vol. 2 Ch. 27

Praise Wakayo-chan for being a winggirl to Chiyo, even if she somewhat resented the result. @cksn But Soujirou is no ordinary man. Even if he is insecure, his heart is in the right place; can't fault him for respecting (misunderstanding) his wife's wishes.

My New Wife Is Forcing Herself to Smile - Vol. 2 Ch. 26

@inKraken Aha, you are quite correct. In feudal Japan, the wife of a samurai had a very distinctive role, and must always follow a code of conduct, not unlike the samurai himself. Depending on the family, the extremes of this conduct can vary, but it's obvious that most members of both Chiyo's...

My New Wife Is Forcing Herself to Smile - Vol. 1 Ch. 19.5 - The Day That The New Bride Got Married

I wonder where Chiyo's sister was, was she not invited to the wedding? Her presence would likely have relieved much of the tension Chiyo was feeling; and she probably would be giving pointers for the consummation act.

    Cyclops Shoujo Saipu~ - Vol. 4 Ch. 137 - The Apollo Siblings

Damn, anger in here. 🤬 This makes Apollo's fans' reactions somewhat ironic. Let's not forget that every story in this series ends up with either a lighthearted conclusion, or getting played for laughs.

I Am Gao Fu Shuai - Ch. 32

Did the author-san just make up stuff as the story went along? Random characters appearing out of nowhere for no reason, complete reversals of character dispositions and motivations, and the overall chaotic unfolding of events are hallmarks of this kind of storytelling.

I Am Gao Fu Shuai - Ch. 25

What a stupid twist, lol. There's no way that either of those people, the "shy" couple, are shy whatsoever. The MC handled it well; I would have made all three of those people feel like complete shit. Life is too short to have ignorant people waste your time like that.

    Chi no Wadachi - Vol. 11 Ch. 91 - It's All My...

Perhaps I'm not the only one who's noticed this, but the level of mind fuckery scenery going on here is reminiscent of what one would see if there was some kind of cosmic horror involved. I understand the point that the author is making that Seichi is visualizing and projecting his broken...
