@gyrocahyo I think that depends on what your native language is. In Denmark, we also say "femten hundrede", which is 15 (fithteen) 100 (hundred), meaning 15 hundreds, aka 1500. It's just an old way to abbreviate the number, since saying one thousand five hundred takes too long.
