Wow, what interesting world building and no ridiculous OP silliness or leveling system so far. I missed fantasy worlds like that. I was beginning to think I had grown out of the genre.

@Saloria_Stralli Some people really don't like drama so there no harm in warning them in advance. My understanding is that tags are used both as a way to find things you want to read and as a way to exclude things you don't want to read.

@Iwizesol I kind of disagree with your metaphor. You don't get to order works of fiction like you would with regular food. This is closer to going to a restaurant and asking for the chef's choice and this one time the food is spicy when it usually isn't. You often get this one comedic moment in...

@Darklight99 Know the quote "Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity"? On the internet it's sort of the other way around. Never attribute to stupidity that which is adequately explained by trolling. He is definitely baiting.

@loosalat How much have you read so far? If you want a definitive answer, there isn't one. However, He is quite odd, . Thaaat said, I never found him annoying. I don't think it's possible to enjoy this manga if you hate his character this much no matter his backstory.

The stretched out words make them sound like drunks, but I don't think that was the intention.

@Darklight99 I thought so too. But, after thinking about it, an em dash should have been used there instead of ellipses.

i want to clarify one small thing, because of a comment I saw on 4chan that I lost my chance to reply to. In page 8 the narrator is not affectionately calling Chihiro "Chihi". He was, instead, initially assuming Yugami forgot about her, but is cut short by Yugami reminiscing.

So, Yugami is a liar and a stalker. Officers! Arrest this man!

TL;DR she said Yes. Of all the times for Chihiro to overthink his motives. It IS what you call plain, old "dating", Chihiro. If I'm not mistaken it was the "plain" friend who said that, too.
