Dang. I've compared this series to Galaxy Express 999 before and here's another similarity: Maetel won't hesitate to end your sorry life if you threaten her or Tetsuro, and Motoka looks like she can be just as ruthless when it comes to her shop. At least Motoka hasn't blown up any planets so far.

Looks like her "Dragon Fist Maiden" name from chapter 10.1 isn't just for show. Is she a D&D cleric, or something? I seem to remember they were crazy broken in some editions.

Just found this series today and read all 19 chapters. Does anyone else think Kotowari's cloak makes her look like a player character from Journey? It's been bugging me for the last dozen chapters or so.

Could you imagine if modern politicians got epithets like that? It'd be fascinating to see how these things get chosen and remembered. I just hope they're more interesting than Crooked Hillary and Donald the Orange. Also, John of England had a second epithet: Softsword.

How much you wanna bet that outfit was made just for that poor sap? That last page was great, but I have to say this to Hitomi: if that teacher ever puts rainbow lights under her hair, RUN!
