Asura is more concerned with speed than context and readability. I'd rather wait and never read anything they translate.
It's also taught me that if two groups are SL the same project, one of them has gotta be superior in translation.
I'm liking the story now after the magical nonsense.
@sircusa they kidnapped this man and have stolen almost 2 decades of his life. He was tortured and humiliated for 11 years straight. He wasn't even some otaku that liked the genre in real life.
I love that he just snaps and gets more and more "evil". They deserve ALL of this. It's like he got...
@AMarshmallowOnTopa You saved me. I was almost about to pick this back up. I started months ago and dropped the comic for the LN.
That's a huge deal to leave out.
@ joel7686 you pointed out my main issue. He’s lived in the modern world and spent a thousand years with gods and high level beings. Yet he still struggles with things. That’s boring.
Also since he got to the tournament, the story tone has shifted dramatically. He wasn’t an exposition machine...
This is getting boring.
Everything is stupid fluff pretending to be high level politics. The MC can solve all problems.
Meh. I’m giving up on this bullshit.
This is boring.
Unless you're a hardcore MMORPG fan who loves stats, this is just a snooze fest.
You get panels of stats. MC is delusionally OP. Min max is constant and silly.
I'd avoid this unless you like RPG stat screens. I know this is a game, but I hate it.
This isekai uses tropes without being overwhelmed by said tropes. There’s a bit of harem, but it’s dealt with nicely and makes sense. There’s an OP MC but even that isn’t exploited. There’s politics that makes sense. It’s a generally nice storyline.
