Honestly, at this point I don't actually read the chapters, I just sift through it for the pictures and get a broad Idea of what's what. Well, unless it's a chapter with actual plot development. In which case I do read in earnest and am thankful for the translators work
I was distraught to hear the previous scanlator dropped the series (I admire his respect for the authors however), but I am elated to see the series will continue getting scanlated ^^
Man the first chapter was tough for me to get through just because of how much of a tryhard the male lead is, but now that I got over that hill it seems like a pretty wholesome story.
Seems to me like Kobayashi knows exactly what she's doing when suggesting Elma and Tohru travel together (after bringing up the subject of love). Tohru will be lonely when Kobayashi is gone, so it would be ideal for her to find some solace through Elma.
Y'know, Obviously, it wouldn't make sense...
Even though they're setting up some red flags, I hope the new savior is just a down to earth good guy. Wouldn't be unheard of. Like how in Goblin Slayer, you have GS's team taking care of more mundane tasks while the dedicated hero team is saving the world from bigger threats off screen. Fingers...
