How does he know how the characters in manga fight if he can't read?

The manga is so stupid Japanese why did he even decide to make it take place in London. There is nothing British about this other than its setting. Why do they have to keep talking about social rank when that doesn't even matter in western societies(her getting mad at not being called Sempai)...

This was the most confusing read ever, but I finally realized half way through that its suppose to be read left--->right. I'm an idiot, but I was think there were missing panels or the text is for some other manga since it didn't match what was on screen.
