@Shad0wReaper133 right, the intention was for "baby" to be taken as a proper noun (see rebel16's post above for deets). otherwise, we're in agreement that it would need an article in front (definite or otherwise) to make the grammar gods happy

@polo i worded it as she's referring to the developing fetus, using 'baby' as a proper noun instead of a common noun pregnant women commonly refer to their unnamed child as 'baby' (proper) and 'the baby' (common), depending on if they're using it as a stand-in for the name or the physical...

I fell hard for the art. Story builds really slowly, there's so much repeated exposition in the early chapters. The art's so nice, though
