@yurirei If he has something on mangadex, it's not coming up when I search his name. If you're referring to Side by Side Dreamers, the novel is available in English from JNovel, but I don't think it's gotten an adaptation. The artist does have several other works on Mangadex.

@LTV The (English) publisher's website has links to purchase the the ebooks. There's also an omnibus of vol. 1&2, and one coming of 3&4. https://j-novel.club/s/otherside-picnic Edit: Here's the link for the omnibus...

Urasekai Picnic - Vol. 6 Ch. 35 - Resort Night at the Beach of the End IV

@The5thSeraph You know it's still ongoing, right? Like, you'll have to wait a bit, but there will be more chapters. Or just buy the novels.

@EatTheBones I assume because of Kozakura? But yeah, doesn't fit. And she'd probably have a stroke if somebody called her that

Urasekai Picnic - Vol. 6 Ch. 33 - Resort Night at the Beach of the End II

@210astat Just fyi, it took 23 chapters (including an 80+ page chapter 1) to adapt the first novel volume. That's roughly 2 years per volume. So we should hit the end of volume 3 in about 3, 3.5 years at the current pace. . .

@HeX-Mania1 not really sure what you're asking? The guns aren't major spoilers in and of themselves. If you're concerned about cultural or legal restrictions on the display of firearms in media, that's something you'd know better than anyone else, since you know your place of residence/audience.

    @Tinytina15 it's very slow developing.

@TDSgaming typo happens. And you're welcome.

    Urasekai Picnic

@TDSgaming I guess that depends what "payoff" you're looking for? You won't necessarily find a grand, overarching narrative that explains the otherside, or resolves it's interactions with our world. Knowledge about it is still very much incomplete and tentative, and there's no obvious central...

    Urasekai Picnic

@TDSgaming I mean, the easiest way to find out if you want to read it is to just dive in and start reading? The novel/manga have a less light hearted tone, and the creepy atmosphere/psychological effects of the things they face come through stronger. If you like the anime for the characters...

Urasekai Picnic - Vol. 6 Ch. 31 - The Operation to Rescue the US Forces at Kisaragi Station VIII

I feel bad for the major, having to try to explain all this to his superiors. "You're telling me you wound up in another world, had a transport get transformed into a giant robot, and had half your unit driven insane or killed by monsters, before being rescued by a couple of girls with magical...

    Just Right There!

@blackbankai you changed the setting to show the toggle, and then set the toggle to "view all"?

    Just Right There!

Chapters are still there, but won't show unless you have it set to show H chapters.

@Samadhi_Overdrive ah, yeah, that's fair. I want to say MD is planning to eventually merge both tags into "yuri," so maybe they'll update the definition then? Wiki breaks it down more or less the same way I've seen others explain it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yuri_(genre)
  15. I

    Urasekai Picnic

@Samadhi_Overdrive so far as I know, that distinction is considered outdated in the anglosphere, and never existed in Japan (where "shojo-ai" apparently has connotations of pedophilia, rather than romance). It's also not terribly useful for tagging, since you need to 1) define "sexual," and 2)...
