@JavelinJoe the biggest issue though is that to make it plausible that Tatsu is the main one at fault, the author had to basically regress all of his character development up until this point. Before this whole arc Tatsu was slowly but surely recognizing Kotoka for more than just the fetish...
what bothers me the most about this whole arc is that it seems to just disregard so much of Tatsu's character development. Did the author just forget how he opened up to her about his family life when they spent the night at his mom's? Or when he spent so much time and energy getting her a...
@Starbright while her reasoning with the ban is understandable, the issue is that it comes off as if she's insecure about their relationship more than anything.
This is a common arc in a lot of romance stories where couples try to cut off an aspect of their interests in one another under the...
@DFM1412 I think it's mostly on her for being insecure about their relationship, but it is consistent with her character, as we've seen her get pretty overtly jealous pretty often. It's also on Tatsu for being pretty dense and not being too keen on her feelings.
Honestly I don't think this arc...
I mean what do you expect? He's a middle school kid who's probably never fallen in love before. This kind of stuff comes with the territory of the whole "set in a school" trope in manga imo...
Hell, compared to other romance MC's he feels more realistically portrayed, as he actually admits to...
HOLY SHIT I JUST REALIZED Eve said "Demon that seduced Tarou". Didn't Tarou's dad say something like that? I don't think Ibusuki has ever heard that line.
At this point I think Ibusuki's justification for doing all of this is that if Tarou stayed with Eve he will die (And she likes him). Whether...
@sterven @ShionVaynex
I thought it was implied that eve is lying and getting corrupted, what with the hint of the dark bubble in her last line.
It can also explain the look she gave ebino and tarou after she transformed back. Hard to say though since we weren't shown that Ririsu actually did...
I'm pretty sure in a previous chapter Tarou already knows she is a girl, but is keeping from admitting it because he feels that if he does it will make Eve disappear?
>"Why are they shoving her non-virginity in our faces?"
IT'S THE WHOLE FUCKING PREMISE OF THE STORY
the whole point is subverting our expectations on how this type of character is played out in manga, and so far it's doing it pretty well. of course they're going to have scenarios where it's...
