@Antyl I mean this is just a side chapter. I think they're progressing pretty well in the main chapters. They may not be specifically dating but they're making a lot of progress in their emotional development. imo

I think the pacing is fine. Even though it feels like the MC is solving this really quick, I'd rather him feel anxious and try to cover all his bases as soon as possible, then go through 50+ chapters of random shenanigans

Say what you will about the quality of the story once Melon was introduced but I'm just glad the story concluded while I still think of it fondly and even with a sorta Disney ending for some characters

I kinda hate how Segawa's defining character trait is legit that she's the perfect girl. Sachi is fine. Erika #1 tho
