I don't really get the monster girls but I absolutely love those villagers. They seem like cool dudes.

This is a touching story. That's about all there is to say. It reminds me of how a D&D game would be after it ends. Seeing the sights before letting your characters go. Memories that wouldn't be relived. Bittersweet.
