Well I suppose, as far as endings go, this one's not that bad. But the way it tries to give closure feels a bit on the nose.
I also didn't really care for the use of the "plain girl transforms to attract the guy she likes" cliché.
It's been hinted at for ages, but because it's Hata, I always dismissed it as just another red herring.
But now I can't deny it anymore.

But I'd be far more concerned about the woollen clothes.
As has been pointed out previously, goat's milk is far more digestible than cow's milk, healthier too. And if Thorfinn had gifted them cheese that problem could have been avoided entirely

@Torappu it is very clearly implied that both her tripping and the breaking of such a specific section of railing is directly caused by the ghost's influence.
I'm sticking to my theory that the truly big and creepy ones are some sort of gatekeepers until proven otherwise.
Or it could simply be a case of the big wraith eating the little wraiths and becoming stronger until it's big enough to claim it's own patch of turf.
