ZdrytchX they cut out some events to speed things up (one is referenced in the webcomic already) so I expect more references to things she did as they were growing up might pop up. I believe the web comic just time jumped to chapter 25.
@Yalu12 it’s a bit easier to understand in the novel. But basically it comes down to the fact that she was a literal sword for hundreds of years thousands of years and has a lot of PTSD from that. she never wanted to kill and she was used to murder a lot of people so she’s got a huge disconnect...
