To me it feels like the person responsible for the lettering has no English knowledge and is doing so from some hand-written notes sent by the translator. And it is possible the hand script is so bad that the typesetter has no clues whether it is a P or an R.

Oh God the translation is awful... Please open a book about English grammar!
