I stopped reading this at chapter 24 to allow chapters to stockpile, but really, the pacing could do better.

This Prince! He’s truly out of his depth ain’t he? However, did he just forget how much of a f*ckboi he’s been that him bringing a woman to his palace can be misinterpreted? He didn’t even properly introduce her to his staff. Sigh.

Finally, someone with enough emotional intelligence to explain why people react the way they do to certain words or situations. The lead characters are so emotionally inept, it hurts so much to read every chapter.

This chapter makes me so mad. Based on the novel's settings, a woman's status is highly dependent on her husband. By virtue of her status as Duchess, she should have been given more respect and should not have been sidelined by any vassal (resentful or not). I blame her emotionally inept...

I somehow pity the King, but then again, it comes with his job and the fact that he is resigned to the abstract limitations of his position, makes me think that he brought it upon himself. Although, I do hope that Naomi sticks with him, as babysitter and a friend, if they can’t be lovers.
