@carolibarros I agree! And depending on the time period, bringing your lover to another aristocrat’s home was ranked anywhere from bad manners to a downright insult to the host.

It’s hard to accept “no” as an answer when someone you rely on for life advice informs you that you just need to “man up and prove your love.” Poor Lucas, I hope he realizes quickly that his dad gives terrible advice, or he’s going to lose even his friendship with Leah.

I am really enjoying this series so far. The romance isn’t too pushy, and has avoided some of the cliche scenes with male leads getting physically aggressive when they feel jealousy. I’m really looking forward to more!

Based on the sketch, the castle seems to be loosely based on Neuschwanstein in Germany. A fun fact bout Neuschwanstein is that, while there isn’t a hot spring, it did have running water thanks to a waterfall that cascaded down the mountain behind it.

This is great so far. A strong female lead who’s reactions make sense given her life experiences is always nice to see. The male lead mostly has understandable reactions as well. And the translation team’s efforts are very appreciated! Can’t wait to read more!
