@rarelambo21
The manga right now is in volume 5.
And yes, volume 11 comes out this month and volumes 12 and 13 are most likely almost ready. I think it was around volume 6 that the translator said on twitter that she already had volume 9 ready, so it's not a hard guess that she's always 2-3...
@LimeLobster
Aside from the context behind the whole war... because it wasn't as simple as "well they wanted war already". I think the biggest skip is that there's one character that is introduced in this volume that will be a future memeber of Kumoko's group but his introduction was skipped.

He thinks that Japanese Publishers care about the opinions of random western readers on an unofficial website.
He calls the manga "superior version" when it wasn't even a option for the adaptation.
He thinks that the manga having a score of 8.95 on an unofficial website...
@Levankua
That would be fair.... if the manga didn't also skipped a human character that is important in Kumoko's side
The manga literally cut the introduction of a character that would be part of Kumoko's group

Manga
Kumoko: If Ohts win they won't leave me alone for sure.
Kumoko: No point in thinking about it.
Kumoko: Interfering is my only choice!! I have to help them.
Novel
Kumoko: Why don’t I just participate in the war? That’d be...

Also, did the manga already explained Kumoko's rules?
Anyway:
Rule 1: No mercy towards those that attack me.
Rule 2: Always eat what you kill.
Can't remember what Rule 3 was.
@esp
Yeah went back to the novel and it did remove the cocoon.
Though Kumoko still mention that Oths' army is too big and is probably made by multiple countries.
Anyway this still doesn't excuse the manga for the lack of context.
@warm_panties
You should read the LN not the WN.
Shun chapters are a bit boring but the usual bad translation of the WN also didn't helped.
In my opinion Shun chapters are a bit more enjoyable in the LN mostly due to the new character Fei (the purple dragon from the anime). Also in average Shun...
@karoto94
I don't have the novel at hand right now so I can't check but yeah he can alsl be frim the church. Sariella doesn't have goof relationships with both of them.
Differences between the manga and novel:
- In the novel Kumoko never turned off the Parallel wills instead she put them to translate the language since the very beginning. This was done by placing invisible threads around the city and use them as tin can telephone.
- Kumoko was able to...
