Her brother was sick and needed the money, she first thought to sell a child in her care instead of maybe selling herself or even stealing the money. I do agree she was thinking irrationally but the slavers were not forcing her nor holding her family hostage for the deal.

@nylodale She had my sympathy until her first and only option was to steal a toddler and sell her as a slave. The author didn't even make her try other things just straight to crime.
I hope there will be decent character development for Junta, for seven volumes he's only been know as having a cult following cs he smiles at everyone and everything and being perfect. It's cute that he grows relationship wise but it'll be nice to see him grow as an actor too besides his "aura"...
