Man these chapters were okay but chill out guys. This arc is still better than the Melon arc in Beastars, we are getting some progression with characters. Just enjoy the ride and don't complain because the main two haven't done it yet.
so it meandered with the last arc and now its ending in 2 more chapters so now we quickly have to wrap everything up. ugh, first KR 01 and now this too.
This whole arc was convoluted. Honestly this story was killed by the inconsistent writing. The author shifts focus way too much, the initial mystery was good. The resolution was great but the story took a dive after Legosi left school. If they wanted to capitalize on the mystery aspect, then the...
Because subverting expectations equals good storytelling............ this arc's point just keeps on being dragged out for too long. Maybe if there were other's like Melon that Louis and other characters would face off against, it would be more compelling. But this weekly format just makes this...
@Newbii This one is more irrational for sure but Legosi's Mom literally locked herself in a room because she didn't want anyone to see her scales. And she ended her life when she felt confident enough that Legosi would be normal (i.e. not have scales). Because she couldn't deal with how she...
@Newbii It frames the choices in a humanizing way by making it rational for characters to make that choice. Honestly with how much they are cherished by the survivors just baffles me. It would make more sense if they chose to be with their family in-spite of the hardships instead of succumbing...
So bot Legosi's Mom and Grandma essentially committed suicide and the manga shows these things as a positive? That's kinda messed up. Suicide isn't something to celebrate, it's the no other option route. Honestly both of them are selfish in the way they went by calling it love.
