I liked Ariko a lot. At first he is becoming a sacrificial pawn by Hijikata, then threatened to become double agent by Tsurumi, but at then end he choose to become an ally to Asirpa.. hope Asirpa is fine after reuniting with Sugimoto

i feel sad for tsurumi. this is the first time i regard a part him is still a normal human being. he can feel sadness and loss certainly unlike ogata.. thank you @ehscans as always for the facts. really helps understanding the depth of the story.
