That last bit was to get at readers who had schadenfreude. The resentment is just surface level, everything indicates that she’s only realizing how bad her/her families previous actions were(don’t immediately believe the unreliable internal narration)

This was well done and ended solidly. I really need to look for more condensed stories like this instead of long running series that rehash trope scenarios. 13+ volume stories that stretch arcs across multiple volumes is wearing my interest down.

@konzolmester for anyone that likes misunderstanding comedy, it's very deserving of its rating. If you're looking for basically anything else then, yeah it'll be less than stellar. People looking for battlemanga don't like romcom either, it doesn't mean a romcom they end up is poorly executed...
