I actually appreciate the fast pace and even though the MC is OP, he’s relatively level headed and logical about the whole thing. It’s generic but not bad.

But the whole point of trying to stick as close to the plot as possible is so that the world doesn’t ... y’know, END? He literally explains that if the hero party of the main story can’t beat the game they’re fucked anyways. So far his actions have been pretty logical.
I think people are slightly missing the point. The dungeoning is as much a spectator sport as it is the usual dungeon clearing, and as a result MC doesn’t get appreciated. His actual strength isn’t the issue. It’s like public perception of Jigglypuff in competitive Smash Bros Melee.
