Not the first time I've noticed this, but the story is straying massively from the Webnovel. I wonder how much it'll affect the dynamics of this series, and for better or for worse.

Somehow, the webnovel Jinshi is just a far more interesting character than the LN/manga version. Still, it's really fun to see his delusions regarding Mao Mao finally be given visual form. However, the manga has really done Rihaku dirty, it's cut out the core of his character development...

@MyriadDestiny 'Lemaikalangkong' just means 'don't tell anyone'. As for 'kongkalikong' without context the first 'kong' can be anything.

I foresaw this happening in the comments. If anyone else sees this. This series is most explicitly not historical. The author doesn't even pretend to be historically accurate, and in fact makes no effort whatsoever to make it historically accurate. Everything is just a setting for the story...

Thus signifies the end of anything interesting about this series. It's been a good run. The rest hereon is pretty garbage based on the source material.
