ChiChidi, both complaints you bring up are overblown at best.
See, I used my brain to deal with those complaints in ways that make sense. That said, the series isn't even close to serious and is mostly a fun ride. I don't think anything is going to get resolved any time soon, romantically...
There are two explanations as to why no paradoxes have been created:
1: Multiple world interpretation, where every timeline is a separate universe of sorts. Paradoxes are impossible here, as the timeline branches out rather than being one singular timeline.
2: Magic, because magic is dumb.
