    @NotteBoy97 The first notice in the first chapter is a note on how they are writing the names like their chinese pronounciation and not the japanese pronounciation like the novel and other manga does. Some things stayed the same like MaoMao, some things changed like consort Gyokuyou -> consort Yuye.

    @iyasunozomu This is all based on otome games and it's tropes. It's not that hamefura started this. Its that otome games started this. Having the heroine you. Be a commoner gives you a good excuse to not know anything about the academy or noble life. So it makes sense to get ingame explanations...
