Of course isekais tend to be pretty tropey and this one is no different, but honestly it’s a pretty fun read. Would recommend, just know he’s not going to be some big brain 4D chess megamind. Go read a detective manga or whatever if that’s what you’re into.
This will either be one of those slow-burner 300+ chapter epics or a meandering aimless story. Too early to tell at this point imo. Agree with good quality art as being a strong positive, but there’s no reason to be soft on reviewing just because it’s the author’s first work.
Kind of interesting when they introduce new characters, but not a lot else going on. Maybe it’s too early to tell, but chapters are short and plot / character development / world building isn’t really going anywhere. Alright to read if you’re bored but don’t expect too much just yet.
Agree with the back-scratcher translation as being easier to understand, but other than that the translation was great! Thanks for also including the extra clarification of soul vs blood in the earlier chapters.
Liked the manga so went to go read the web novel - sometimes the fan translation has awkward phrasing or weird sentence structure but it was a pretty gripping read. Highly recommend it if you like the story so far.
