P.36: "house" is a common command for dogs in Japan to return to their dog-house. I think it's more of a joke on that rather than "burnt house" because he said he's like a dog before.
Thanks for the translation. Glad I stuck around long enough for this manga to go more than a fluffy love story. Dunno why some ppl are so upset about it. Just because something isn't your preference doesn't mean it's political...?
Might be too cliché, but...I kiiiinda want to see Kasuga with Chigusa...? The mature high schooler with the annoying 20s playing school might be a perfect fit. Lol
No matter how many times I read it, it makes no sense... Why would she do something good for the person she had a bad view of and was even running away from? Why can't she just take the contract herself sans the commander? Did I miss something?
@okasamyn it's a different kanji. It's 賢 for wisdom. Can also be read as satoru or masaru. The 'ken' you're looking for is 剣 for sword.
You can't assume meanings from romaji and cutting them per syllable. That's like saying 'butterfly' can't be an insect since 'butter' is food.
Might be worth noting that "neko" (cat) is a Japanese slang for bottom in gay relationship. Top is "tachi".
Gotta love the "gays have taste too" rejection. I can never understand the whole confessing to people you don't know or people who don't know you, even in a straight relationship...
