I like this series overall, but the fact that Izuki's secret has been maintained as a source of tension/drama for so long is rather irksome.
Honestly, being insane is actually kind of helpful to the creative process. One time when I was switching anti-depressant medications I was stricken with mania for a day, I ended up writing some weird but interesting stuff I likely wouldn't have thought of otherwise. I get you, author.

I feel for the author. On one hand, you want to be able to say that your work has had some positive and profound impact on the world, but on the other, you also just want to make something fun that people can use to unwind.
I've read the LNs so I knew Sorawo's backstory going into this, but man, that image of her sitting in seiza next to a gas can with a blank expression on her face is rougher than what I imagined it looked like when I originally read it.

This manga was really nice, I'm sad to see it go in only 14 chapters, but ah well. I'll look forward to the author's next work.
While I am definitely a little sad to see this end somewhat abruptly, it was still an enjoyable ride. Plus, the author is definitely leaving open the possibility of a sequel/spinoff based on Shiba and Kanda's brother which I am 1000% down for even though I've never read any yaoi.
