Came here after the anime. Could someone please tell me where to start? Did they skip lots of things or did they follow the manga?

It ended and the end was beautiful. Because of the timeskip I feel a bit unsatisfied but who cares, the ending makes up for it. :) Thanks for the translations! I really liked them. :)
