I think this should probably be listed as being related to Suzunaan. That’s why it feels like “almost canon”, because it’s a fanwork inspired by a canon manga.

I have mixed feelings about Jack getting a redemption arc after ripping Nine’s tongue out. And by mixed I mean not mixed.

It’s a comedy of errors… the whole premise is there will be a billion ridiculous misunderstandings. It’s like one of Shakespeare’s comedies. Hopefully it doesn’t get too serious.

Little detail: Aria’s pose when she’s surprised to see Asher looks a lot like the “cat-like” Aria he imagined. A nice touch.

“I wish to be your hands and feet from the bottom of my heart.” This metaphor went a little off the rails…

Dang, the best joke in the novel got lost in adaptation. Our brave hero has years of experience playing card games with other bored holy knights. There’s no way she’d lose to these scrubs.

In an odd way, this reminds me of Calvin and Hobbes. I think it’s because it’s so imaginative. The Colors have tons of wild ideas and can do anything, even if it doesn’t make sense or doesn’t really fit the logic of a story.
