as a lesbian i 100% condone this plot and i would absolutely love it of some people stopped holding stories about women loving women up to some sort of purity standard. guess what, we're allowed to be messy in fiction and it doesn't mean it's morally wrong or upholding an homophobic agenda...

Yuri's adopted noona is a cousin whose parents died, it's made clear in one of the later chapters where there is the funeral flashback, when Yuri and Teacher cry their eyes out in that hotel room.

WHY

the new translation is confusing and made several big mistakes at time, i am guessing the translator isn't very good at english, but i think it's still nice of them to have translated it anyways.
