People don't know what shoujo and seinen mean and say dumb stuff like "it ran in the wrong magazine" and it shows.

Pretty sure this Dilfrant system was brought in BECAUSE the guiding light is flawed. The spirit's only saw this later because they applied a quick solution to the plague mentioned early in the series. Some nobles have figured out how to manipulate the system so the Dilfrants, outside observers...
