And of course they named her Lori. If you don't get it there is no "L" in the Japanese language and they often use an "R" in its place. So Lori could also be read as Loli.

I'm not a big fan of Korean comics, but for some reason All Day Jo Ayoung clicks with me. It's a slice of life comic about a little girl named Ayoung who lives with her older half brother Minsok who she calls dad since their parents work overseas and he's effectively the only adult in her life...

It's an interesting idea, but the author is throwing so much worldbuilding at me that my eyes are glazing over. I know more than I really want to know about the "steps" and shit, but I feel like I know nothing about the lead character.

I'm seriously disappointed that a younger girl named Chiyo-chan and there were no Azumanga Daioh references. Also I thought we'd get a gyaru before a cousin, but one more on my harem archetype bingo board.

This reminds me of Fuuka's death in Fuuka. Like there was some kind of mistake and we accidently killed someone off, but it was even stupider in Fuuka because she was the titled character.

In Tadano's defense I think most people would be incredibly confused by half the things they did.

Sometimes I get concerned about the way homosexuality is depicted in anime. When I was younger it seemed progressive, but that was 20 years ago and now it seems cringy and outdated. Though using Shiro as a literal shield was pretty funny.

I don't know why I keep trying Seo Kouji's mangas. He consistently writes pretty unlikable characters with cliche tsunderes punching/kicking the MC through walls which was old when Love Hina did it 20 years ago. I guess the question is what BS will he do that will make me throw up my hands and...
