I'm not sure if Mangadex didn't track this scanlation work, but asking for donation when you've only done one chapter this year (and suddenly on Solo Levelling) and here and there last year on some other manga/webtoon is questionable imo. It's a bruh moment for sure though

Mhm... I feel like the author let's us choose which ending suits us best considering his author's note, but I feel like it makes much more sense for the ending to be a tragedy. A happy ending would be too much of a convenient for our MC. The bad ending would work because his father is way too...
