Whoa. I did expect Raian to win (or lose, depending on your view point) by kill, but not so fast and not so brutal. Things are getting more exciting now.
@bakauguu Yeah. I get the feeling that the author had a bunch of ideas, put them into the story, and then didn't really had an idea on how to develop them further. This isn't a specific problem, as a lot of authors have the problem of transisting from a more personal focus group of characters...
I find the logic pretty solid. So far all the nobles they've met were evil bastards, so if someone who provided them aid a few times and give them good advice says the prince is evil, then it pretty much confirms to their worldview. It is an easy assumption based on what they know.
